Finnish Signbank
Finnish Signbank is a lexical database of FinSLFinnish Sign Language and FinSSLFinland-Swedish Sign Language that is linked to the Corpus of Finnish Sign Language. It is developed by the Corpus Project of Finland’s Sign Languages (CFINSL) at the Sign Language Centre of the University of Jyväskylä in cooperation with the corpus and dictionary work of the Finnish Association of the Deaf.
On the basis of the Finnish Signbank two lexica are being created: the Kipo Corpus lexicon of the Finnish Association of the Deaf and a lexicon from the CFINSL project.
The Finnish Signbank runs on the software FinSL-signbank , a fork of NGT Signbank, which was in turn based on Auslan Signbank (cf. Global Signbank - NGT).
