Corpora Workshop at LREC 2020

Once again, there will be an LREC workshop focussing on sign language resources, esp. corpora. Please check the full announcement here. The “hot topic” of this workshop will be “Involving the Language Community”, but any other contribution related to sign language technology and sign language resources, esp. sign language corpora, is highly welcome. The paper submission deadline is Feb 14, 2020.

Talk by Michael Meyer in Dortmund

At the 13th of December 2019 Michael Meyer gave a talk about the DGS-Korpus project. He presented the Public DGS-Korpus and also gave an outlook on the dictionary DGS-German. After the talk, the program "SignHunter" was used to collect signs for places.
