As an organisation representing parents of deaf children, FODOK is ideally suited to represent the interests of various groups of end-users in the Signing Books project: deaf children and young adults, their parents and their teachers.

In the Signing Books project, FODOK will be responsible for the overall management of the project and for the communication with the the TAP-DE Office. FODOK will also be responsible for the description of current practices, and the development of a framework for 'library services for the deaf'. Last but not least, FODOK will safeguard the quality of the work by the consortium and the central role of the end-users in all activities.
