Circular Movements - Inventory of Symbols
same principle as for straight movements
arrows indicate the direction a cork-screw would move if turned in circle direction
Regarding the symbol-signifié relation of the latter group of circular movement symbols:
- The circle is described from that point of view where it does not appear as a circle, but as a back-and-forth movement.
(The symbol can be motivated by shifting the perspective slightly to the bottom, back, or bottom respectively.)
- The arrow on the circle indicates that part of the circle nearer to the observer in the appropriate perspective.
